Inspired by the design of the original “Thompson” ribbed Sniper barrel, the TIGHTSTICK is intended as a one-barrel solution for tightbore/underbore applications. Its step-bore design is unique and is not found on any other LAPCO barrels, providing a 10″ control-bore length in a 14″ overall package. The porting design is also unique and features 6 rows of straight ports, for whisper-quiet performance. Manufactured of aerospace-quality 6061 aluminum and featuring LAPCO’s truly supreme attention to quality, these barrels carry a lifetime warranty through LAPCO. Designed with the needs of pump players in mind, the TIGHTSTICK is equally suitable for semi applications.
The benefits of tightbore or underbore barrels have been well-tested and documented in recent years. Underboring prevents rollouts, achieves optimum efficiency and provides optimum consistency, mitigating the effects of ball-to-ball size variances. Testing and experience has shown that paintballs can take quite a bit of squeeze without increased paint breakage and that the old wisdom of an exact bore match is actually the least desirable option.

The magazine release is manufactured from the same 6061 aluminum found on the right-handed magazine release that most serious Tiberius Arms owners have installed on their pistols. The highly sought after product has the LAPCO scorpion icon lasered onto it and fits perfectly with all Tiberius pistols on the market today. This allows for easy index finger engagement of the magazine release for right-handed shooters. Derrick Obatake from the LA Hitmen was quoted “I have been wanting a left-handed mag release for my Tiberius for years even though I am right handed. Tired of trying to figure our what magazine conversion to put on your Tippmann A5 paintball marker? So many players think you have to completely convert or modify your A5 to get this done. But in truth it just depends on what product you buy for it. The LAPCO A5 Magazines do not require any conversion of any kind. The LAPCO A5 Magazines do not void your Tippmann warranty nor ask you to dremel or cut up your marker in any way. The magazines are easy to install, and require no conversion necessary. Numerous magazines are out there but only the LAPCO branded ones actually have a realistic look to them. Compare them side by side and you will make the right call.
Currently LAPCO offers a two kinds of magazines for the Tippmann Sports A5 paintball marker: the MP5 Mag and the M4 Mag. For the M4 Mag LAPCO has three versions available. Pre 2011, New Style A5 (525,000 serial number+), and the New Style E-Grip. For the MP5 there are two versions. One for the Pre 2011 and one for the New Style A5 (525,000 serial number+). All of the LAPCO magazine offerings are “gas through” design and offer the legendary lifetime warranty and are made in the USA.
